have not been to the elk this year yet, other years grass was very bad, any info?

I crabbed the Elk on Saturday and the grass is there just like years past.

I was there Friday 9/15/17.  From Bo down it wasn't too bad.  East side was MUCH better that day but I believe a lot has to do with wind direction (there was basically no wind that day).  I will tell you I went up near canal to try west side near the giant metal range marker just down from canal and there was so much grass I didn't even want to motor in there.

I was out Sunday around courthouse point and surprizingly  very little grass. I too was on the east side with very little wind. We also stayed as near to the channel as we could and stayed in 7 to 9 ft.
