Friends came down from NY. So crabbing we went. Using handlines and a few 2 ring net traps baited with chicken and a cpl with spot we caught @ a dozen n 1/2 keeper jimmies in a few hours. The biggest 1 was over 7 inches and most of the others were in the 5 1/2 to 6 inch range. Also caught another dozen or more small jimies and females. We had a blast! friends from NY couldn't stop talking about it as they have only gone crabbing a cpl of times. We went in late afternoon from a cpl hours before high tide to about a hour after high tide. Love Blue Crab Archives have learned so much here! Thanks

" Having a blast" makes the crabbing trip super special. Those folks from NY get to eat some crabs.
