Got to my spot a little before 6am. Tossed out 12 handlines. First run of lines nothing. 2nd run 2 keepers then a keeper per run for the next 3 runs. Around 7am my helper decided to get out of the truck and help me. My sister in law came with me. So I decided to put out the traps while she runs the handlines. First run of traps produced 11 keepers! I was like game on. Next run only produced 3 crabs. But the numbers got a little better. I was averaging 7 crabs a run. I started a little late with the traps and we wanted to be back around 2pm. So we started pack up around 11:30am. We could have filled the bushel basket but we had enough for our dinner. 70% where full or mostly full. It was very windy and a little cold. We had a good time and great catch. Man where those crabs good.

Another group showed up around 9am. They said they crabbed last Wednesday with only handlines and caught a bushel from 9am to 3pm. They said they caught 67 crabs and it filled a basket. This time around I had a bad tide and it was windy so it was not easy crabbing on the side I had picked. Good luck if you go out Mark. Thanks everyone.
