I was looking to try one more time on a creek off of the Patapsco Saturday. But looking at the reports is it really worth it? have all the crabs left that area? Should i just open the wallet and buy from one of the local Commercial guys?

You'll likely catch more , not a lot more, but more in Middle River.

I donít know about the river, but itís always fun to get out and try. At the end of the day, you can still open your wallet and buy from a commercial. However, I just simply enjoy being out on the water.

I am comm and i opened the wallet yesterday, to lay out 40$ for clams and 20$ for fuel and if they are there it will still be my last trip this season on the Patasco. Time to hut the fast approching rut.

I haven't crabbed Middle River all season because the reports have been so bad. i still have bait and the boat is gassed up so this trip in my eyes isn't costing me anything. I guess I'm headed out there tomorrow. looks to be a good tide so plenty of time to move around and find them if needed.

I've been catching them while crabbing. Breaking around the area I'm crabbing in. They make great crab bait . Trade them in for something that tastes good.

Everytime there is a major storm the sewage overflows into the river. This article is just a reminder.
