My buddy invited me out on his Cruiser 310 Express speedboat to show him out to crab.  With the season nearing I thought it would cool to be on a luxury boat and not get muddy crabbing from shore!

We launched from a a dock on Monomoscoy Island and dropped 4 collapsible traps then motoered to another area to handline.  This being my friends first time I showed him how to set the hand lines and we got some quick action.  Was much easier pulling crabs vertically up thru water than horizontally across debris on the bottom!   We caught a good 6 in 45 min or so.

Then we pullled the traps and got another 2.   He then wanted to motor out to the open ocean and flush out his motor so we did that - about a 30 min trip and it was fun - powerful boat!

Upon arriving back at the traps we snagged another couple big blues.

He had to get going to his wife but as he hosed off and cleaned the boat, I caught another 3 crabs handlinimg from the dock.

All in all 13 good sized Rustyís!  Canít beat these days while they last!

At the end of the day, it's not about how many fish or crabs you put in the cooler but about how many memories you put in your life and the lives of your "mates".
