How many Eel pots are allowed with a Maryland  commercial crabbers license? A Rec. is allowed 10.

Reg says 25 eels a day. No mention of number of pots.

Also says you have to get a permit from DNR to catch eels for crabbing.

Also there is a time limit on eeling now. No landings Saturday and Sunday. Season closes Nov. 30.

The answer to the question is 50 eel pots are allowed with a commercial crabbers license with a free permit from the DNR. Eels can be used as crab bait but not sold.
