left the dock at 8am on the outgoing tide with 23 cbt. Sunny 10 mph from the south water temp 61. managed two bushels of males 5.5- 6 heavy. there were 5 boats out there today, no sad faces.

Funny your comment about no sad faces.   You like the only happy one of the lot.

I've seen way happier faces at a funeral.     

Are they the new owners of Circa 69?  That would explain it.  LOL

I guess my Monday trip is blown out- 45mpg gusts.  I my aluminum boat I could set a new speed record for it. Sadly inone direction though.

Great report and catch.  We just passed by while working west of the bridge. Nothing there but calmer waters for lunch. Lol.  Will catch you next time.  Maybe a couple more trips for us. Hadn't been out since July 4th.  Way too long.

I hope you're right Gary,

River temps are solidly in the 50's day and night.  Past history says that's the last week of season up here.  Water temp dropped like a rock the last two weeks.

 



I'll be out there this friday with Frank Culler and Hawkeye.... and nov. 11th with a couple of teamsters.. we may see a late november season.. I have seen a couple of Decembers in recent years.
