Thanks 4 the come back I have been using drop nets my wire traps were stolen I would like to go back to wire but they cost  thanks again

Sorry to hear about your traps being stolen. That's the problem here is all the homeless people and their sticky fingers!
I live in decant area and never see any urchins within a few blocks of my house but............
I have a 12' rowboat in the back yard with a six horse Johnson on it. The other day I looked at it and the thumb screws had been loosened.
I do have the motor strapped down with a lock and I guess that's the only reason it is still there!

It's a known fact in my area not to leave any crab traps anywhere over night in the water.
They will be gone by morning!
