Glad you had a really good crabbing season. The fat lady had to sing, at some point though. Enjoy the Holidays and hopefully it won't be a long winter.  Smiley

Looks like I made my last trip also.  Did OK but had to work for what I caught.  180 pounds.  Now its time to hit the woods and do some deer hunting.

Maybe Thursday 12th I'll give it a test run. I'll have a couple of back up plans.  Fishing rods or golf clubs.

Let the traps soak awhile, then fish awhile. If you don't catch crabs,catch some fish, boil them, then pick the meat after they cool and make mock crab cakes just like you would regular crab cakes. That's as close as it gets until the crabs turn on.
