Crab seasoning, what else do you put it on besides seafood.

It's the off season and not much being posted on BCA. Don't know if there is a thread like this before, so I'll ask " Do you put crab seasoning on any other foods besides seafood?" My daughter purchased JO spice seasoning in small containers as gifts for folks invited to her wedding. She had to purchase by the case so there were leftover containers.
I've been using it on snack foods like popcorn, sliced apples and celery. So far I haven't died yet from it and it adds a unusual taste to these foods. Kind of a substitute for salt. I used it on steak and chicken also.
So chime in if you have other foods that you put crab seasoning on.

Old Bay is awesome mixed into French onion dip. Sour cream, onion soup, and Old Bay. Definitely on certain chicken recipes as well.

Holy sh*t, Ed! What do you tell your cardiologist when you see him?
"I eat tofu, but only organic tofu."
Tomorrow morning, I'm putting Old Bay on my Scrapple!

Like the commercials say "I put that s**t on everything!
I bring a small cup of JO#1 into Chinese buffets and put some in their clear broth seafood soup. I also put some on their rice noodles with Shrimp & Lobster sauce.

Thanks to all who responded. Guess I'll have to widen my choices of food to put JO spice on.
Except scrapple, never had it and probably won't because of the ingredients it's made of. But I have been to The Apple Scrapple festival in Delaware. Plenty of folks lining up to get a sandwich there. They only sell one sandwich per person in line at that festival. Saw folks getting back in line for another sandwich while still eating the first one they bought.

Hughes Maid of Felton Delaware..... not from scraps like one would think and very minimal fillers. they actually use good cuts of pork to make theirs.
the only scrapple I will eat.

nope.....it tastes just fine plain. I like mine crunchy or the outside and soft on the inside and even better with a juicy over easy egg, slice of cheese and on wheat bread.

I looked up what scrapple is made of. Offal is an interesting word. I'll pass on it. But it may be something to use crab guts for. Everything left on the pig goes into scrapple. I always heard nothing is wasted from the pig. Why not crab guts? SMH
My wife and daughter eat it fried so there's that. Must be an acquired taste thing.
But bacon and JO is something I'll definitely try. Chinese food and pizza may be next.

X2 but I also like it with ketchup.
I may have to make a trip down to that place and buy some. I am a Rappa scrapple fan, but always willing to try good homemade scrapple.

Hughes Maid is made in their backyard in Felton De right on Rt. 12 and was also featured on Mike Rowe's Dirtiest Jobs. Look for the concrete pigs out front and the horse ring on the right side of the property.

The last thing you want to do is investigate the ingredients of scrapple.
Just slice it, fry it, and eat it. It's not for the weak.
