Had another successful day On The Shrewsbury Tide was way out exposing a lot of areas to Rake. Hit 2- 2 1/2- 3 sizes not the larger ones on opening day.  They called for Cold Windy that did not happen that is my last trip for 2017 will be back out come March 2018 for the end of the season. Had the Flats to our selves guess many deer hunting the 6 day.
Have to Thank Buddy Mike who added to my harvest getting harder for me do the health.

At the end of the day, it's not about how many fish or crabs you put in the cooler but about how many memories you put in your life and the lives of your "mates".

Those look like some very nice sized white lipped beauties!
Thanks for the pictures!
Reminds me of when I used to get them in CT!
I have yet to try and get them here in Florida.
I know where to go but haven't gotten there yet.
The clams are harder to find but there are Oysters everywhere!

Lostrap, thanks for sharing the report and pics. Never clammed at all. Looks like some back breaking work. Know what you mean about health, but that 1st pic of you is revealing. We just have to keep getting up for the things we love to do.  Makes life worth living for, besides family.    Your out there doing what you want to, darn the cold weather.  At 76, you the man. Hope I have that energy at that age, heck, hope I live that long, LOL.

Not that easy for me have a lot of help from Ol Buddy of 38 years from days of working. Notice my Knees all Muddy since we clam the flats raking on our knees they are only 4-5 " down so not as bad as those guys with long rakes in the water.
They surely take care of me every step. I am done for 2017 but they continue I will be back come March 2018 God Willing for the season closing for this area. Thanks for the Reply. Bill

PS. My Father in this photo of My NJ Trophy deer 1958 he did it all.
