Not a great year crabbing but caught enough for a meal and had fun doing it. Can't wait for next year.

Loving those pictures. I got a few crabcakes vacuum sealed and frozen. Think I'll take some out to thaw for lunch tomorrow.
That crab soup kinda looks like oyster stew with crabs in place of oysters. Fantastic idea! Thanks

Hey Mag, Is that the Salem Nuclear Power Plant in the background behind your boat? You were at Dunks Point?

That’s her. I’m north of dunks. That’s one of the beaches between madhorse and hope creek. Can’t remember which. I visit them all year round looking for arrowheads.

Mag, That crab bisque picture looks so good! I had some frozen in the fridge and just broke out one for dinner the other night. So good! It was Whitey Schmidts recipe.
I'd like to see some pictures of your arrowheads!

I’ve hunted, fished, and relaxed on those beaches all my life. I’ll try and post some pics this weekend. I’ll have to go through the basement to refind them again. It actually got me interested in Knapping my own. I’m not to good yet as work and life keep me pretty busy. Can’t remember the last time I was bored and looking for something to do around the house. Here’s a few I’ve done. Still working on the knife

I learned to knap too! It's easier than trying to find them myself but I always keep my eyes open for them! Yours are rather nice and I like that double flow obsidian! I was in a museum in Moab Utah and they had a small white point on display. When I left I found a small rock in the parking lot that looked like the same material as the point so I reproduced it.

Mostly sea bass. There are 2 or 3 tog in there as well but I dont think you can see them.

We had one citation seabass on the trip. We caught our limit of seabass then drifted for flounder with no luck. But did catch a few black fish aka tog.

1.) Summer can't come soon enough. 2.) For some strange reason I find myself hungry!!!

At the end of the day, it's not about how many fish or crabs you put in the cooler but about how many memories you put in your life and the lives of your "mates".
