I'm sitting here watching the storm and day dreaming about what next season will have for us.
So what traps do you use and why? I figured this would wake everyone up since all opinions count.

I use Capt Bruce’s. I bought 15 one year then 15 from another guy I found in Craigslist cause they were cheaper. That was a big mistake. They looked good but that was it. The construction was very weak and they were flimsy and bend easily. I gave them to a neighbor kid for free and bought 20 more of the capts. Now I run half Galvanized and half vinyl.

I like my traps like I like my women, topless. I like the topless ones because they take up less room stacked. I can fit a dozen of them in the trunk of my car and still have room for a cooler and supplies.

You can fit 12 stacked, topless women in your trunk AND a cooler and supplies?! What kind of car is it?

I make my own in the style of the great former trap maker Captain Moose. Topless. Stackable. No pig ears. Supplies come from Tractor Supply Company, Fazzio Steel in South Jersey, Memphis Net and Twine, and Seagear in Cape May.

I really don’t have a favorite. Seems like one will out do the other one day then on the next trip the other is hot. I think time is more important. The older they get the better they are.

Watch out, pretty easy now days to be accused of something illegal. But please take pictures to prove you can do it. The pictures will also help in court, LOL. Good luck
