Haha, fair enough.

Well, i can personally have you speak to several crabbers last year that we did that with, but suit yourself.  Let's change it up--I WONT buy all you catch, and I WONT pay cash, and I WONT pay a dime over market price even though I can afford to for well-culled crabs, as I have wholesale and retail channels.

Any takers from this under-market-paying, partial-catch-taking, non-cash-paying large buyer (smirk) can contact me personally?

I'll third the where are you located question. Like Geckert I'll be working a few days a week and might be interested. Price is the name of the game and most crabbers will sell to the highest paying buyer. Under market paying and/or IOU's won't cut it and if that's what your offering, I doubt you'll find any takers here.

I do not even think the price is as much a factor to me as picking them up. The last guy I sold to used to pick them and run bait and salt down for me. I always got baskets HUGE+ and bait and salt were not marked up. Shoot me a pm if youre interested I will be trotlining the wye(maby on weds only) and the chester.

I have delt with a few who pay whatever they feel like with no regards to the market price....wont answer the phone when its time to turn in your tickets  Angry  I would watch out for the ones who have to advertise.... Undecided

I never heard of a buyer who had to go to a site like this to find crabs. Not many commercial types on this one (too bad because this is a nice group of folks who like to learn and share and that is always good) so I cannot figure what he is after. Yeah a buyer should have bait and salt and baskets available and the ones here come to the dock or in my case since i go in earlier than most it is just a drive up the road to the main place. Something kinda funny here. just you all go crabbing and have some fun and catch some of those crabs that are going to be moving hard by Monday that is for sure.
