after needing a new motor, new tires, new wheel bearings and new leaf springs I was finally able to do some crabbing. went out Saturday with 11 topless traps with chicken legs and got 34 keepers in 4 runs. not a bad trip out at all.

Thanks for a great report! You did well! I have been having trouble finding good ones down here. Last two trips out were a total bust with only 1 - 2 inch crabs found! I went to the north causeway dock yesterday at slack tide to find a crabber who was getting none. Thinking his luck would be better once the tide changed to incoming I returned three hours later. He was leaving after getting no crabs in four hours!
