You guys new to crabbing want to get a leg up, read the book “Beautiful Swimmers”.  Its all about crabs and crab’n.  The book is an easy read for anyone interested in the Chesapeake Bay.  And it will help you get thru Jan. and Feb.

Right on, Jack.  Beautiful Swimmers will definitely help deal with crabbin' withdrawal, related shakes, and winter-related stress.  However, use caution; try to finish reading this book around mid- or late-May 2004.  Otherwise, you'll find yourself right back where you started and perhaps shelling out $$$$ for a trip to Florida, Louisiana, or Texas to catch gulf crabs until the blues show up in the Chesapeake!
