Although tempted to try one of our other locations, this one has been too productive to turn down.  This time it was me and my regular crabbing buddy from the last few years - just 2 of us with 4 handlines each - and in 90 minutes we had 34 crabs and were conscientiously turning down crabs under 5.5”...

Back to my back yard steamer and fired up the fire pit and we knocked down 22 ourselves and my friend took 12 home for his son.

I introduced him to the Filipino vinegar dip and it was a big hit.  If you’re curious this is the most similar I could find on the web: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.soilydreams.com/rustic-recipe-spiced-vinegar/amp/

Another great day! With the amount of Old Bay you use, we should put together a bulk buy here in the cape cod area. We could all probably save a ton of money!

Good job
Thanks for sharing

At the end of the day, it's not about how many fish or crabs you put in the cooler but about how many memories you put in your life and the lives of your "mates".

Doing great. Nice pics. Glad you're back and posting again.  Are you going to give the kayak another try this year?

Yes used it two of the four crab outings thus far but just to periodically venture off shore to pull 3 traps...mainly to give us something else to do.  I feel a kayak day trip to wareham or elsewhere coming up
