Where to go crabbing near Johnson's Bayou, LA or Hackberry, LA ?

I used to go crabbing years ago as a child and into my teenage years and I haven't been back in quite some time. Looking to finally take my kids next weekend somewhere along the Gulf of Mexico in Louisiana. As a youth, we always went to Mississippi and I have never been crabbing in Louisiana. We live in Central Louisiana so we are hoping to head down to either Johnson's Bayou, LA or Hackberry, LA but have no real ideas of where to go exactly. I registered in hopes of finding out some ideas before we try to make a run down there next weekend. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
