Ventured out to Oak Hill yesterday and was crabbing right off the culvert on the west side of the road.  I caught around 18 crabs, all but 2 were too small to keep (or they were females).  Lots of fish jumping but not biting.

We headed north on US 1 to River Breeze Park and did not even SEE a crab.  Zero activity but the place was crawling with manatees.  At one point I accidentally hit one with my crab net - scared both of us half to death.

The two crabs I brought home were delicious.   Cheesy

Thanks for your report and it was nice to meet you and Conner once again!
Sorry to hear you were only able to keep two crabs. That's the way this season has been going. Lots of small crabs!
