Hi,
Looking for any help was thinking of going to cheasapeake beach or choptank for rockfish any suggestions greatly appreciated

I would fish sandy point but i use 12ft surf rods and you need 5 or 6oz weights. But it also depends on when high tide is. Choptank sounds good as well. Never fished cheasapeake beach.

Either one would be a good choice, check out reports on tidal fish. If  you are trolling try fishing deep and umbrellas,  Good luck
