I really wanted to try my new burner and cook some crabs for dinner.  I decided to head to Goodrich’s for a few hours as it has been warm here for the most part lately.  Hit the pier at approx 7:00.  When I got out out the car the temp read 46.  I dropped 7 nets with chicken necks.  My first pull yielded 1 keeper.  I thought to myself that this trip may be better than I had first imagined. I stayed until about 10:30 and left with 19 that were between 5.5 - 6.  When I got home I counted 7 that were 6.  I also noticed that these were a bit heavier than I had seen all year. All in All a great day.

You got what you wanted, some crabs to steam with your new burner. Nice going.

Thanks for the report! I was going to the flea market and then check out Goodriches but never made it down for  no good reason at all!
I think I'll check out Goodriches next week or the week after. Right now I'm thinking of going out for some Oysters!
