A buddy of mine from CT is visiting Florida for a couple months (snow bird) and we got together this morning for a crab trip. I warned him that crabbing has been off, way off, since the double hurricanes  and then the heavy rains this past spring and summer. I had fish heads in two ring traps while he was using a baited rod and reel. He had shrimp in a mesh basket on one rod and a small Mullet on the other.
Again no crabs caught or seen! Sure hope they recover sometime this year!

Thanks for the report, I have been wanting to find time for some prospecting at Goodriches and around Oak Hill and Edgewater. Now I know. Mark
