That is a nice one! I really don't know a lot about sika deer. The few thing I do know is they are hard to hunt and taste great. Makes me want to hunt them. Might give it a try next year. Congrats on the nice buck.

Sika's are hunted on the lower eastern shore of MD and Va. They are usually the elusive deer and a great stag like this one are few in comparison to the white tail deer. Their habitats are usually the swamp marshes or pines that are very close to the swamp marshes or the lower eastern shore.

I live hunt and work/crab in Dorchester co and have killed my share of large sika bucks I thought nothing ever that big you must be living right god bless congratulations on a beautiful buck
