Had the day off work today, so after I took the kids to school I grabbed the kayak and 6 topless traps. I got on the water about 07:45 and was using chicken legs. Every trap had crabs on every pull, but most were undersized. Caught lots of 7-8 inch sponge crabs and threw them back as well. I managed to get a dozen keepers for supper. The wind picked up around 08:45. So I packed up and was gone by 09:00

You had a lot of action for that short period of time.  Still caught enough to have a decent meal. Way to go on your day off, thanks for sharing.
