Pulled the first pots of my commercial crabbing career on Saturday 4/13.    I dropped 38 pots on Friday 4/12 baited with bunker and harvested them 24 hours later.    Ended up with a bushel of jimmies between 4.75" and 5.75" and a half bushel of 5.75" crabs and up.

Dropped another 31 pots in a different location yesterday as well.   Have 38 more going out on Monday to make 107 pots in the water to start my season.

Congrats on your new endeavor.
May your pots be full all season long.

The last pic surely will tell you what new pots look like. Way to load them up. I'm betting your boat will be lower in the water if you bring that same amount back at the end of the season. Good luck, have a great season.

Nice looking traps.  Seems like they are starting earlier than expected this year.  Great haul and can't wait to get out soon.

Not bad for a 24-hour soak in mid-April.

Good looking crabs buddy. Congrats and best wishes parlaying this into a successful business venture. Keep at it my friend.

Each one of us here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question: We are willing to help, Lord, but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it is those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding.

So eloquently put, Al, I couldn't have said it better myself. Those are some big crabs. Keep up the good work.
