Author Topic: Best crabbing in Long Beach Island?  (Read 4771 times)

Hello,
I will be in Long Beach Island for the first week in July.  Where is the best area for crabbing on the bay?  I would prefer a dock or somewhere I can crab with droplines from land.  I might also take a boat out for an afternoon too.

I used to put in around Harvey Cedars and cross the bay to the wildlife sanctuary ....there's an area near a burned out shack that was pretty good.

Take RT72 go to ron jons make right at first light go about 3 miles on right you will see a store called crab cove. good luck.

Excellent- Thanks!  So it's in ship bottom then?  Is it a pier over there?  I also plan to take out a boat from ship bottom to do some exploring and crabbing.
