I want to get some 2 ring hoop nets to crab near my house.  Thinking about running a few in deeper waters with buoys that I can run around and check with my boat.  What is the best bang for my buck on a 2 ring hoop crab net?  Which type have yall bought and been happy with?  Should I go with cotton or metal mesh??  I know metal will last longer but I have heard cotton catches better.  Not sure if that is true or not.  Thanks for the help.

Crabbing has been decent on the lafayette river in Norfolk.  Nothing crazy but I have been happy with the amount we have gotten so far.  The commercial guys have landmined around my house so I have had to move around a bit but still getting a few.

I like Perfectionist rings. Little pricey, but they are nice.

I have been using 18 inch Eagle Claw purchased from Eastern Marine in Del. for about 4 years. There are a lot more experienced and
knowledgable people on this forum than myself that may have better ideas.
