Crab'n is a way of life....

WWW
« on: June 12, 2019, 10:41:38 AM »

I have not been crabbing much but what I did was decent. Been fixing up some pots and threw the new wired pots off the pier to get the new stink off.  In the past 25 years my pier has not been very productive.  The pot soaked for over a week.  When I pulled them up this morning every one had 6 to 10 crabs in it.  Not keepers but most were whiteys about 4 inches. thumbsup  Looks like the next full moon should be a great peeler run.  Smiley

Hardhead.  Croaker.
thumbsup Yup.  We used to have REALLY good croaker fishing.  My self imposed size limit was nothing under 14 inches..  Then hurricane Sandy rolled thru and the croaker just disappeared.   Sad
