I stopped down again today just for an update. I found three crabbers there all were using ring nets baited with chicken.
All stated they had recently arrived but had caught no crabs yet! The 2019 saga continues!

I used to get a lot of big crabs in CT but the season is so short in the western Sound it's very frustrating!

Same thing I always say when I am on big crabs and strangers ask hows the crabbing. Only giveaway is those darn mudders making loud background scratching noises in the cooler. laugh
