Hi,

Was hoping I could get some tips on what size pot and rack I need to steam an entire bushel of crabs at one time. Also, does it take longer vs. doing a dozen or two dozen at a time?

Thanks in advance.

http://www.stackablecrabtraps.com/seasoning.html

I have the 1 bushel one you see in that link.  With that I can do a bushel and still have room for 15 ears of corn.  Timing wise?  Regardless of the amount of crabs I steam, I wait for there to be rolling steam before I start a 25 min timer.

I have the same - its expensive - but its a real real nice piece of equipment that gets the job done with precision. ‘If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
