My crabbing buddy's Report. (I cancelled on going due to bad reports)
    7am to 3pm
    22 huge males
    2 Medium females threw back.
    1200' line with chicken necks
    Moved line 3 times
    6 drop offs

Crabbing was slow but fun he said. He also said, "one of his crabs was 9 7/8" point to point." I personally have never seen a crab that big but he is a man of good character and I believe him. Curious to know if anyone else has caught or seen a crab that big??

Sounds like a great guy, but a crab that big will need to be shown with a tape measure. All in all, it still sounds like a great trip.

I would be getting that bad boy mounted and it would make a trip even where I struggled

Yes, I've gotten some that large.  I regret not getting a mount vs eating them.  Crabs significantly over 9" are hard to get but they're in the bay.   Nice trophy!

Lucky guy, that's a crab to brag about. Wonder how he tasted?
