Anchored from 9:30AM - Noon. 4 traps, 2 drop lines baited with bunker. 23 males in the 5 - 6 inch range took a ride home with me. Threw back about the same number of anything under 5 inches.  No females caught so I canít be criticized for throwing them back....Left them biting when the wind stared howling and the clouds started rolling in.

A great day and very efficient.  Catch what you need- not all that will fit then looking for takers.

Sweet.  Was out there Sunday on the Sink by Oceanic and did well too. Congratulations skipper!

You on a Grady?

Capt. Frank - No on a tan Sea Fox center console. We usually go out to the hook to fish but once every couple of weeks we really enjoy anchoring up and crabbing for a few hours. Itís very relaxing and usually we get a tasty dinner.....

I've seen your boat.   That name is an eye catcher.

Perhaps I've seen it when I was on the sea tow boat?  I usually drift ( fish) on the sea tow boat  between the SP buoy or Belford and the Candle Sticks.  Some times further north on Chapel Hill channel.

Ironically Sunday night headed in about 6-630 ran into a sinking 20 foot Stratos just north of Earle.   Broken fish box drain hose and nearly lost the boat.  FIVE HOURS later its on a trailer in Woodbridge.  LOL  Pays to fish and not sit at dock awaiting jobs.  Would have sunk if not 5 minutes away.
