Drove I-95 North and then South from Stuart. Fl. to S.C. line....passed over many rivers that one could always see crab pot buoys......never saw the first one...very odd,

In my area the crabbing has been off since the back to back hurricanes we had; Irma and Matthew. Maybe they are having the same problems up there? From reports it sounds like North Carolina is OK.

I don't think its the hurricanes but luck of the draw when it comes to ocean currents and wind directions moving the crab fry into the bays. Also having redfish and black drum waiting with their mouths open doesn't help.
