Poll: Steamed Crabs vs. Boiled Crabs or other

I am all in on steamed but am willing to see what other methods are in play.

So what is your preferred cook method?  - results public in 30 days.

Steamed Maryland style but if we only get a few then Fried.

Jack, not only steamed Maryland style, but the crabs have to be from Maryland because there aren't any crabs in Virginia right?

Should maybe be able to make two choices as I would also check Fried for soft crabs.

Thanks for the feedback, fried was added, however the ask is for hard crab cooking method.

steamed , but if someone gives me cooked crabs , it doesn't matter how they were cooked

Okay, So this began when a I heard of enthusiastic crab connoisseur who spoke up for various cooking methods.  They sounded as though these were as mainstream as the steaming.  While the poll respondents were not as many as desired - nonetheless there is a reasonable extrapolation to be gathered from the results.

• Steamed crabs are the most common cooking method t over 78% popularity

• Boiled crabs, which many spoke highly of, gathered a distant 17%

• Baked had 4%

• Fried was added as an option after having that request

• Ceviche and other, had no takers.
