Check out Masterbaiters in New Castle, I have always gotten good live crabs from them. They also steam crabs. Port Penn Tackle store also sells fresh caught crabs and I have had good live crabs from there and they also steam them.

I made the trip to crab73, picked up a bushel of light male crabs all they had left and females.50 Middle neck clams, dozen oysters, corn on cob & 2lbs snow crab. Crab cakes with grilled corn cob oysters and those tasty clams. Two hour drive, but I would do it again. Thanks guys.

Crab 73 is great. I picked up a half bushel of females from there this weekend for $25. Most were decent sized and packed full of meat. They are right around the corner from me and I pass there twice a day in my work travel.

And I'm sure they tasted delicious. Nothing wrong with female crabs, especially when they are so cheap.
