Greetings panel. Love eating crabs, but find them costly and hard to find in any market. My son and Grandson will be visiting in July and I can think of no better way than to go after some of NJ's best. Live in Matawan and looking for good locations along the Bayshore to Sandy Hook. Prefer staying on land or dock. If you guys and gals have any hints as to where, what equipment, bait, etc. please pass on.

Hey neighbor, I am in Aberdeen. I was at the Keyport pier the other day, crabbing is getting good at high tide. Box traps and hand lines work great.
Have fun.
