Massachusetts crab season end

I haven’t been able to get back out due to family engagements. I’m hoping to still get on the water but with the change
On weather not sure if it’s worth my tome. This is my first year canning so I do not k ow when I should cal it quits. How late into fall are the crabs around?

This was posted over a year ago... but I wanted to mention - I've been watching pretty closely this season so far.
as of 9/13 they are still out there - in lower numbers now, but still out there! if the temperatures stay at/above around 70 I would think the season could extend to the start of October potentially!

going to check out tomorrow..... I can't wait. hoping to find some Wink

There were a couple of cold nights this past week, but overall temps seem to stay in the 60/70's during the day and nights still in the mid 40's for the most part.

It looks like it will be a good weekend weather wise too!
