I started loading the FJ to head down to DE for the Friday opener. I got a new Marlin 1894 lever in 44 Mag to try now that it's legal, nothing wrong with my shotgun just an excuse to get another gun, hope to post results.

Good luck. The bucks should still be cruising.

I was hoping to post something good about my DE hunting but the only decent shot I saw was a small doe that might have dressed 50 lbs so I didn't shoot, maybe I'll try again in January. On a better note, yesterday I got a 95 pound doe on my farm in PA so we got venison.

Don't worry, there will always be a market to buy guns, it's a HUGE unshakable industry.   Besides, money buys anything.  My dad would only load his clip with 4 rounds for household protection?  Said with confidence, he really only need 2 max to down an intruder and send any others scrambling.  If you're a terrible shot, more guns won't help you.  Get to the range and work on your accuracy.
