Did you shoot it with a bow or just stab it with your knife? Or did you jump on it's back? Nice job on your buck!

He came in behind my stand,from my right side.Walking very slowly,i hit him on his right side about 8"back.The arrow angled forward,taking out the liver lungs and slicing one side of the heart.Exiting somewhere behind the left leg.I use a sight master sight and rocket 75 grain miniblasters which they no longer make anymore.Back in the day we had a 3d deer target on a clothsline for practicing running shots.I don't do running shots however it works well if they are walking very slow.I found that aim where I want the arrow to go and follow through with the shot works very well.Stopping at the shot makes it hit too far back and leading is just a [curd] shoot.Also I use a millinium tree stand which allows me to shoot behind my stand pretty well from my left side.Jumping from a tree stand with a knife would be far too dangerous.
