I may have read it here, supposedly they will cut your crab wire for a small fee if you buy the wire from them. Is that a thing?, Do they still do that? Thanks

If you're speaking about Marshalls Mfg. in Atlantic VA. The answer is yes and yes..  Last time, couple years ago, they charged 10 bucks per roll to cut and fold....
