I finally got a chance to test my new outboard . I soaked 5 traps for  24 hours and only caught 9
keepers.  I supplemented my catch with a sack of crawfish I bought on the way home. The few crabs I caught were large , full of fat at extra sweet. Hopefully crabbing will pick up soon.

Boyd's That's where I got them. On Easter Sunday they had a 2 mile long line at there drive thru crawfish pick up. It looks different now they built a big warehouse for there wholesale bussiness.
I have never crabbed McFaddin  but  I alligator hunt close by at J.D. MURPHREE WMA. I want to find a place that I can soak some crawfish traps while running a crab line.
