Harbor Freight cutter, bender combo

Anyone have experience cutting pot wire with the Harbor Freight 30 inch shear, bender, roller combo? Looks like it may work but not willing to sink the money in it until I can find out if it works or not. Been looking for a foot shear locally but no luck.

Not harbor freight but I had a tractor supply one. Cut wire good. The brake sucked. A 2x4 jig is faster anyway. The roller worked good for bait boxes.

I appreciate the info...I will look at the Tractor Supply tool...I've seen the same tool  Harbor Freight sells on several sites...just a different paint job. Most likely made at the same factory. Thanks again.

Depends on how many pots you looking to build? River dale wire has air cutters for around 200$ I use them along with a pedal shear.

I got one from Harbor Freight about 15 yrs ago.  Use it every winter with no problems (once I got it dialed in).  Sh
ear works good, brake works good.  Roller so-so.  Not sure if it's the same tool.  Can you provide a link?

I have a HF 30" shear and it cuts wire great

OK...Guessing you're talking for topless, but whatever then??...Anyway, I'm looking for 3/32" galv 'wire'/rod that I can make these bait clips from...This is a cut piece off of a tomato cage...They work, but I'm limited to the distance between welds...Looking for JUST the wire/rod that would be 3'/4' whatever???...Also, I'm guessing anything off a spool would not have the strength, so to speak??

when I made that type bait clip for traps I used wire coat hangers. they last a good while and side right down the center vertebrae of a cn.
