Line in at 6:00 am
Falling tide
300 feet baited with chicken necks
4 to 6 foot depth

Line in by 6:00 am, starting looking for the cooler so I could get a bottle of water discovered I left cooler and my hat in the truck so I head back to the ramp to retrieve cooler and hat this gave my line around a 30 minute soak.  Picture below is the first run had 8 keepers, after that it was back to 0 to 3 keepers each run.  By 8:30 am with 2 runs of zero keepers my bait was pretty well eaten up so i pulled and re baited the line moved to another creek mouth.  Better crabs just not a lot of them so I made one last lay in an area that produced a few weeks ago that had dried up, picked up maybe eight there bait was pretty well bones by then overall a good day to be on the water. Finished with 41 all males.

Don't you just hate when you forget things? I always seem to forget at least one thing every trip. 41 is still a decent result given the situations.

Glad you got some crabs to eat WADE.
Yeah I had them days too, but a day on the water
without ice water is really bad. I used to put fresh
Spring water in soda bottles and then a few squirts
of lemon and in the freezer it would go. those Ice
bottle done two things # 1 it kept my crabs cold and
   # 2 when the ice started to melt it gave me a refresher
to drink.  Keep reporting WADE I like your reports and
pictures. GOOD LUCK THE NEXT TIME OUT !

indoe,  I was a good three miles upriver from the mouth.

xFishdogx, Thanks, mostly 5 1/2" to 6 1/2".

bgfishhook1, Lucky it was a short ride back to the ramp.  My fishing partner from Williamsburg Va wants to go Friday, hoping they will still be biting.
