Hi,  new crabber here.  I read that most people use chicken necks or legs for bait.  Where do you buy chicken necks?  Most supermarkets do not carry them.  Do you take the skin off the chicken?  Thank you!

Hello. Chicken drumsticks work good too, probably just as good but maybe just a tad more expensive. At my supermarket without sales, I usually can get like 12 drumsticks for $4-5ish

Very few supermarkets carry chicken necks.  You can ask at a butcher shop that carries poultry. Backs will work and are usually less expensive than other parts of the chicken.  (Necks are usually the cheapest. If you buy in quantity like a 40lb box they can be even cheaper)
