When I went to Amreinís recently to buy bulk JO#2 I saw that they sold Harford metal pots.  I saw the bushel one I currently own, the 1.5 bushel one and a mini version.  Itís appropriate for the the indoor oven/range.

Looking to do a steam with shrimp, sweet corn, clams, mussels and small potatoes.

Iím worried about timing.  When to throw in each item specifically?

Anyone rock such a thing and have any insight?

Buy one.  Think it was like $94?  Same quality as my harford metal bushel pot.

Went to Richards fish and crabs by Harford Community College and got 3 dozen clams, a bit over a pound of mussels, had a pound of 16-20 count shrimp, sweet corn, tiny potatoes and a couple onions.  Pretty excited to see how this goes tomorrow.

I was up at Amrein's/Legacy Foods yesterday, bought 75lbs of spice and some boxes.  Was tapped out and not able to get that micro steamer.  Next time.  I had a tape in the truck but didn't bring in to measure across the basket, I hope it will fit a reasonable crab flat in there.  I guess they could be on end somewhat.  Anyway I have spent $95 on worse things.  Now I got to drive Sad up there again.

Each one of us here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question: We are willing to help, Lord, but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it is those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding.

These aren't my pictures, but elsewhere on this forum - even after rotating the pictures they want to post rotated 90 left.  IDK, but I think the logic behind the forum drives it.
