2020-July-26, Mid Bay River
Harvest:  1/4 bushel
Line: 1200 foot line with necks
Traps: 8
Time: 8:00 to 12:30
Tide: Out going to slack
Air temp: 80 SE wind ~5-10 mph
Water temp: 82
Water clarity: ~18 inches
Depth: 5-8 feet
NOTES: First trip out this year. My buddy Jim and I set our line in a creek off the main river where I have done well in the past. In hindsight I should have laid in the river. The boat ran great which was the only good news for the day. We didnít stay long because I started to feel sick but we did get the line in and set a few traps.
First run of the line produced 5 keepers.  After the first run the catch rate dropped to 1 or 2 keepers per run. We only managed one keeper in the traps. The line brought up a lot of small crabs and female.
