I've been going crabbing every Friday.  Thought I post todays catch.

winds SSW at 10
Falling tide
water temp in upper 80's
Water clarity stained but clear
Air temp 80's
2-600' lines baited with CN

Started running the first line at 0630.  both lines East/West.  The South line was doing way better than the North line so after the 3rd run I picked up the North line and ran it North/South and the West end of the East/West line.  Bingo!!! good move.  Now I was catching on both lines.  As always when BIG RED (sun) comes up its over by 0800.  Again at 0815 I started to pick both lines up and had the boat on the trailer by 0900 and home by 1000.  Crabs are in the pot.  I'll post a final count.

Good catch. How deep were you crabbing?
Stay safe. Hopefully both of the storms miss the two of us.

Please include the dated, mm/dd/yy, in the subject line of reports.  That will help members identify current reports when searching the forum. Thank you.

Ok.  I thought when I posted "TODAYS" catch that would be sufficient.  But in the future I will post the date as asked.

Each one of us here today will at one time in our lives look upon a loved one who is in need and ask the same question: We are willing to help, Lord, but what, if anything, is needed? For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it is those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding.

Nope.  No real big ones. mostly around 7 inches.  Awhile back I was catching some big whoppers.  Not many but some 8 inch crabs.  For the last couple of weeks my buddy and I have been cutting webbing to make a shrimp trawl.  Almost finished.  Should be able to put it in the water by the weekend.  Crabbing has been good and there are a LOT of shrimp out there to be caught.  I'll keep everyone posted.
