Air temp 80s all day
Water temp 86-87.5
Water color pea soup green
Wind NE 5-10
3 day set

Hit the water early to beat the Labor Day crowd. Ran about 120 pots for the day.
The first 60 traps only yielded two keepers. Had some Rigamortus fish in those traps. (A telltale sign in September to move the gear shallow).
I was extremely surprised how clean the traps were with the water being so foggy.
The last 60 traps were in prime location where the current moves around obstructions during stagnant water times. I was happy to see the northeast wind hopefully it’ll change some things because there were a few dead crab in the deep areas of the good spots. (I guess even all the boats out on the water for the holiday isn’t puttting enough oxygen in the water to keep the river alive.)
At the end of the day I kept 13 Crabs = 12lbs i’m not gonna complain about the size. It was either big or baby and I threw the small ones back. Saw a few lite and softies too.
