Crabbed Old Lyme on Sunday. A little bit of both tides and the crabs were hungry! Most were dirty. Kept nothing under 6". Came home with 30 nice crabs. Would of had more but lost a lot slipping out of traps. Sad

LOVE September Crabbin when you can take your pick of the size you want to keep and number of crabs you feel you want to clean yes yes yes

 Smiley I am Crabbycakes and am female (hence the girl figure in the profile)   Shocked  I am the crabber in the family, been crabbing/ fishing since toddler in New Jersey. Luckily married someone who loves to fish and introduced him to crabbing. We divide our boating between fishing and crabbing.

Ok I am finished with my little bio... laugh laugh

It seemed to take a little time this year for the crabs to bite, but now they are really producing, been having good luck each time we go. Sure hope this continues for a while before the water gets too cold.
