Hit the water at 9:30 and crabbed the incoming got 13 then it died at hightide then crabbed the outgoing for a couple and got 20 more Smiley
Man tons of big old females got so bad I was just hitting them with the net when I saw the red claws  Tongue
Anyway ended up with 33 all in the 5.5 to 6,25 inch range (No Essex Monsters today) dropped off 20 for a friend and took the bakers dozen home for supper Cheesy

Same issue yesterday. I crabbed down closer to the saltwater. And tons of females. It's a good thing in the long run. Just takes longer to wait for the big boys.

Yeah the drought is really messing up the usual salt/freshwater zones for crabbin the Bigones which now is looking to be up in Essex yes
And looking at the next 10 day forecast on channel 30 this morning it looks like that salty line is just gonna keep moving up river yes
